The second release from our ‘Foeder Aged’ series is a Czech-style Pilsner we lagered in our oak Foeders. The influence of wood deepens the flavour of this Pilsner, lending the base a genuinely distinct quality with oak tannin interplaying with the snappy bitterness and a woody and coconutty divergence. This Pilsner is anything but linear and pushes the boundary of how we can interpret the style. We hope you enjoy.

Very lightly hazed, light golden colour with a frothy white head, average retention and some nice foamy lacing left. Yeasty nose with pear fruitiness, hints of apples. The oak sweetness shows up a little in the taste, but not overly vanilla, nor too rich. The fruit continues and the dryness helps out. An interesting Pilsner, but still prefer their Italian version, even their German one.
