Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Pour was typical in color for a dubble, although getting served this in a pint glass was a bit unattractive. The head also didn't thrive, which was disappointing. The aroma was of candi sugar, yeast, and some cider, could have been better deeper, more dark malt aspects, but oh well. The flavor was decent, some chocolate underneath the yeast, cider, and light fruit flavors. Wanted more dark fruits, but didn't get them. Alcohol at 8.5% didn't burn and only came out a tad too strong with higher temperatures (they served this thing way too cold). Mouthfeel was pretty smooth.
