This amber blend of English bittersweet cider apples is fermented to dryness and lightly carbonated. The toffee-like aroma has notes of black pepper and ginger. The flavour is broad and full from the rich apple tannins, with caramel notes and a hint of leather, and a bold dry tannic finish. “Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion” refers to a ship in good order. 440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy orange colour, pours moderately sparkling with a shortlived white head. Aroma of cider apples, spices, exotic woodwork and tannins. The flavour is dry, woody and peppery, tannins in the finish.
