As a typical high gravity beer, Jupiter is complex and extremely full-bodied. The unique mix of malts bring rich aromas of coffee, raisins and ripe fruits. Which gives both sweet tones and complementary acidity to this velvety beer. Since this is currently our beer with highest gravity, it made sense to name it after Jupiter, the heaviest planet.

330 ml can, as Fjordfolk Jupiter Imperial Stout, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.2%, IBU 160. Pitch black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts and dark chocolate, hints of oak and bourbon. Flavour of roast malts, unsweetened liquorice, dark bitter chocolate, heavy roast Italian espresso coffee, tar, and vicious amounts of piney bittering hops.
