Our Belgian style "Wit" beer, which has 50% wheat malt. Orange peel and coriander are added into the final brew to produce a citrus characteristic. The longboard is served unfiltered. Belgians describe their Wit Beers as 'Summer Beers' and serve them with a slice of lemon.

Tasted this at the Australian Beer Festival, 30 September 2006, along with the Pig Dog Pilsener, and Bulli Black. This was my first beer of the day, and was a very fine example of the style. Great wheat malt aromas & flavour, with orange & coriander seed in good balance. More noticable hop back palate & bitterness than you would expect for style, but for me this was a plus, and knowing the brewer's predeliction towards hops, no surprise either. I think the crips bitterness adds to the "summer beer refreshement". Nice drop.
