Jet black colored beer with a big frothy textured light brown head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A moderate ringlet and thick splotches of film are left. Roasted malt and some jalapeno are in the nose. The heat is there though subdued. A lot of roasted malt and some licorice. Full bodied.
