Fink Bräu has been availabe at Lidl's in France, Spain and Portugal for probably 10 years now. Back then, a can bought in Portugal was as little as 0.12 €, whereas in France, its price was brought up to 0.32 € in 2013 - still unbeatable. Fink Bräu (and not Pink Bräu as some funny coevals might be tempted to say) has a lovely bitter taste, it's not too watery - very similar to Swiss beers or "Jever" from Northern Germany. Very pleasant for such a low price. Well done, Lidl and Karlsberg brewery in Homburg!

It reminds best Czech pilseners. Very cheap beer and I expected something not excellent, but it surprised me pleasantly. Main characteristic - very instense yeast bitterness. But because I enjoy it I can drink it with great pleasure. Light yellow color as most pilseners, yeasty aroma. Not sour. Absolutely dominant taste is bitterness. But though not irritating. Overall flavour is perfectly balanced. I guess it's perfect with spicy food.
