A deep dark secret, oh, I mean stout, with a sneaky 9% ABV and a warm rich decadence. There is no denying it, this beer is big. 9% ABV ain’t no joke. Nonetheless, we let this beer mellow and form over time into a lovely, warm, and sneaky evening sipper.

Dark brown colour with some copper-ruby highlights. A big frothy-creamyish light-beige coloured head, good retention and some nice creamy lacing left. Even thought coconut is not in the ingredients, and they do have a version where they add this and more - coconut is felt all-around. Chocolate malt base with cacao notes, the coconut, wheat-banana and hints of grassy hops. Oily mouthfeel with a building dry finish. Some decent bitterness in the flavours from cacao, lingering, with a touch of coconut and the hops playing their role in cutting the richness. Quite a nice, smooth Imperial Stout with enough hops and a touch of coconut.
