Big review night with the local Brew Crew: 18 different beers with barbecue, delicious desserts, and good company. Clear ruddy coffee color poured without much head. The aroma presents coffee, smoke, and booze. Crisp coffee and gentle vanilla flavor is even better than the aroma anticipates. Sweet and soothing. Velvety feel with tiny bubbles.

Comes out of the can a rich, deep, coffe-like sable with a very thick and rather persistent tan head. Aroma has notes of roast malt, chocolate and good coffee, plus an undertone of vanilla. Robust flavor has smoky, vanilla, mocha and toffee notes, some sweetness but not too much. Texture is smooth, firm and somewhat fizzy. Glad this "secret" is out!
