Fiedler - Schwarzbier ein Genuss, den ein jeder trinken muss. Malzaromatisch gut gebraut, es dunkel aus dem Glase schaut.

500 ml bottle. Poured a clear dark brown-red colored Schwarzbier with a two fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, coffee beans and fruity, nuts. The flavour is grainy roasted malts, notes of burned coffee beans and caramel, moderate grassy hops bitterness. The mouthfeel is sparkling and very smooth. This light bodied beer has a dry roasted malts finish. A decent Schwarzbier which won a Silver Award at the European Beer Star in 2009.
