An enticingly dark real ale with sharp floral notes emphasised by a balanced bitterness and a lingering sweetness of the malted grain. An ale for all occasions. At 4.8% abv it has a nice effervescent bite when first consumed and with a hint of bitterness. Brewed using Challenger and Styrian hops which give the beer its distintive flavour. The triangular plan form of Paxtons Tower has three arches which allows one to walk through and these give the beer its name.
