"Faxe Red is a fresh beer with a faint taste of berries and fruits which also gives the beer the distinctive red colour. The taste of berries and fruits balanced with the slightly sweetness of the malt gives Faxe Red fullness and body. Combined with a high content of carbon dioxide, Faxe Red is a very fresh, vinous and very drinkable beer".

Second red brew tonight, comparing it to the Lakeport Red. This one pours a lighter copper-red-caramel colour with tiny bubble, very light carbonation. The foamy head is pink-white in colour and stays a while. Patchy lacing runs around the glass. Nice mild malty nose and sticky mouthfeel, but not too much. Good grain malt taste with a little mix of hop and metallic flavour, but again, not to ruin anything. The berries talked about in the description are quite well hidden, so no, this is not a fruity beer, but a nice red lager. A good alternative to boring swills.

Quite the strawberry coloured body in this beer. Good head on the pour, but kinda fades away as time goes on. Malt aroma with some sweetness evident. Malts taste in the beginning, adding a pleasant berry sweetness near the middle and finishing with a quick mildly bitter hit. Dry finish. Quite surprised with this one, as several of the other Faxe brews before this were rather disappointing. One of the finest of the style that I've tried as well.

I found this beer to be pretty good considering that the other Faxe brew I tried (Faxe 10) was terrible. This beer poured a bright red color (almost looked like fruit punch) and had some good flavor to it. Not a bad choice.

Very nice red color. Soft sweet taste and good mouthfeel. A little bit fruity taste. Really good if served chilled. Nice summer beer with grilled food.

Quite nice beer with fine solid red color and rich bubbly long lasting foam. Rich and fresh fruity-malty aroma. First sips are comming a little bit acidic and not so plesant, but later the flavour turns into nice malty taste with some mix of mildness and bitterness, also with some fruit traces. Fine fresh malty aftertaste. Nice beer, really worth to try.
