Pours ruby brown with a nice full head. Great lacing. Loads of suspended good stuff floating around! Dark fruit, hops, malt. Mouthfeel is a tad weak. All around great beer - nice!

Gift from Cottrell. Frothy from the bottle, a foam lover's delight. Unpasteurized, unfiltered, and hazy. Truly mahogany, and not copper-colored, ESB. Sweet aroma smells faintly of metal or tin. Can detect dried fruits in the fruity, malty taste. Dry and hoppy bitterness leads to a subtle, lingering hop aftertaste. Damn fine ale!

A very pleasant and well made ESB. Pours a golden/copper color, topped with a sticky cream colored head. Aroma is full of caramel, nutty, and a bit spicy from hops. Taste begins slightly nutty and fruity, then becomes hoppy. Hop profile is very earthy, with more nutty and spicy characteristics coming through. As it warms, caramel becomes prevalent, as does a bit of toasted grain. A nice beer, one of the better ESBs I've had.
