Tallboy from the Beer Store. Pours a huge frothy white head and has a clear straw coloured appearance. Excessive carbonation. Lots of dirty lacing. Aromas of grains, malts, subtle herbs and grass. Flavours are mainly grainy malts, grass and Saaz hops are noticeable. Crisp and dry finish. Refreshing but nothing special really.

First of two Ontario Pilsner tonight (the other being the Perth one). Pours a light golden colour with a white cap, almost creamy, long lasting and with some creamy lacing. Sweet malty nose with some bread notes and honey. A little hops, but more apparent in the taste. Decent bitterness and Saaz notes. This calms down the sweetness in the mouth. Good cereal malts overall. Refreshing, crisp and quite drinkable. Maybe a little too rich for a pilsner.
