100 Meter Ale is an anniversary brew celebrating the 100th batch of beer by Trevor Howard. Combining two of his award winning recipes, Natty Red and Tracktown IPA, this ale features the best of both. Rich aroma, mildly floral and big with a smooth finish! 100 Meter is made from Pale, Munich, Crystal, Chocolate and Carastan malts, with Chinnok, Simcoe, Centennial, Palisade, and Cascade hops, with a dry-hopping of Amarillo hops. Available on draft only.

A nice imperial red, nice malt front with a substancial hop kick in the finish. This is a good example of two lessers creating one greater. The quality of all ECB beers has improved markedly since Trevors arival.

Pours out in a hazy ruby amber colour with a low yet firm white foam. Hoppy aroma of grapefruit, lychee and grass with sweet undertones of caramel and berries. Medium-bodied with notes ofgrapefruit and grass with notes of black cherires, bloodgrape and caramel. Rather grainy mouthfeel. Long bitter finish of grapefruit and lychee.

Sampled on tap at the Portland Rogue Public House. Base notes of bready, earthy malt meet amazingly piney topnotes...so fresh and crisp. The flavor is balanced and b-i-g: hearty rich malts and a great piney-bitterness. Overall, it's a revved up, hopped up Dead Guy and it was the best beer I sampled at Rogue.

On tap at Rogue Ale House – Eugene. Pours a medium copper color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied ‘imperial red’. Malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. Hops are floral and earthy. Nice carbonation. It has a lot of maltiness yet it has a lot of hoppiness. There is a touch of residual bitterness that last a LONG… time. Crisp and crisp. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
