bought this 22 solely for the odd combination of ingredients, and because I don't know that i've ever had a mint beer. as it turned out, i wish that aspect would have been more prevelant. it was there, but understated, and while the resulting beer was definitely unique, it was also a bit of a mess. poured light yellow with a belgian spiceiness, rye, and a hint of spearamint in the aroma. the brown sugar came in the flavor, but just further muddled things. i don't want to slam the beer, cuz it wasn't bad, but for seven bucks, only worth a shot the one time.
