Pretty nice beer though not a standout by Elysians hefty standards. the traditional aromas and flavors are all there...bubble gum and a bit of clove, with some light fruit and citrus, and it's also got a grassy herbal bite, which is unique (but not something i;d want all the time. nice warming feel.

It pours a bubbly golden with a thin white head and copious lacing. A sweet aroma of fresh malts, light hops, lemons and oranges, tart apples, grassiness, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of fresh malts, hops, lemon and citrus, tart apples, cactus, grasses, and I am guessing the Yerba and other spices. Interesting indeed .. the Yerba Mate gives it a unique flavor close to cactus I guess .. excellent!
