500 ml , on tap at the Glockenhof in Eisenach. Poured in the original Eisenacher Pils Seidla a golden-yellow coloured Pils with half a finger almost white foamy head that had a quite long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is sweety malts, grassy hops and honey notes. The flavour is quite the same with a light bitter side. The mouthfeel is round. The texture is a bit oily. This light bodied Pils has a light bitter and honeyish finish. This unusual honeyish side in a Pils brings a pleasant note to this Pils named after one of the most known german caste-fortress in the world, the Wartburg.
