Pours a caramel color with virtually no head or lace. The aroma is caramel and typical for style. The taste is caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely balanced with nice carbonation.

Pours a clear dark drown with a decent head. Aroma is typical of pretty much all European beer in the green bottle. Fairly malty. Taste is full bodied but heavily metallic. So heavilly mettalic that it burns a little but only at first. Overall not very good at all.

Pours out in a clear reddish amber with a low firm off-white foam. Rich malty aroma of fudge, burnt sugar, mild caramel and earth. Medium to full-bodied with notes of fudge, nuts, burnt sugar, anise and careml with hints of spicy and earthy hops. Long solid malty finish of caramel, fudge and spicy hops.
