It’s the archetypal scene of a young man, arms coated in beeswax and eagles’ feathers, mid-flight. His face is a mixture of pure elation and rapture, but then, as he flies just a little higher, and the wax begins to melt… dawning understanding and fear. Maybe the young man is us; maybe he is our over ambitious aspirations. Pours slightly hazy topaz with a thick and persistent vellum head. Aroma gives juicy tangerine and lemon, wheat, yeast, hints of fresh malt. Flavor provides juicy and zesty tangerine, tart lemon, fresh wheat, yeast, hints of malt and a bit of banana. Texture adds nice body and lively fizz. Soar high, Icarus.
