Few brewers will take a wheat beer to the level of a wheat wine, but we did. Strawberry puree added toward the end of fermentation provides natural strawberry flavor and aroma, without adding additional sweetness. The 9.8% alcohol by volume is well hidden making for an incredibly drinkable fruit wheat wine.

A strawberry wheat wine? Hmmm. Pours a murky pink. Smells amazing...fresh cut strawberries with an undercurrent of various malts, with a hint of spice and other hops. No hint of the nearly 10% abv, but nice medium to full body and flavor that nearly matches the aroma. A unique twist on a wheat wine and one of my favorites from Dust Bowl.
