On February 15, 2006 Duran employed a super snazzy Escalade limousine from Hot-Rayz Limousines, gathered up a handful of our closest friends and business partners and hit the road to visit Florida Beer Company in Melbourne for a private beer tasting. This outing turned out to be a unanimous success as we selected our private Duran beer from the wide selection of locally brewed beers offered by the Florida Beer Company. All agreed upon a Carribean Pilsner that has since been named " Duran's Plantation Pilsner." The Plantation Pilsner can be described as this: Brewed exlcusively for the Duran Golf Club. Light-bodied, refreshing pilsner, delicately balanced between the sweetness of 100% malted barley and the crisp, dry finish imparted by the Greman Hallertau hops. Pairs well with your exceptional golf day at Duran.

Sampled on draft at Duran Golf Club, who I guess this is brewed exclusively for by Florida Beer Company down the road in Melbourne. Seemed a lot like their Hurricane Caribbean Pilsner. Golden colored but not pale looking. Corn, sweet malts and perhaps a touch of finishing hops. It's light, refreshing but crisp and clean. Nothing special but not a bad patio beer after a round of golf.
