8.5 abv on bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly to leave only a thin collar. Leaves scum marks for lacing. Roasted malt, dark chocolate and smoke in the aroma. Flavour is full and complex. Highly roasted, almost burnt malt. Unsweetened chocolate, cocoa, strong coffee and dark fruits. Hop bitterness as expected from the 83 ibu. Full bodied and smooth with some alcohol warmth. Good stuff.
