Currently being brewed at De Proef. Duits & Lauret Stout is a very complex, dark and full-bodied beer. A beer to really take your time for in order to enjoy and experience its rich and complex flavour. An aroma of coffee and dark chocolate can easily be discerned. Roasted accents and a slight bitterness are typical of this beer. The stout combines wonderfully well with oysters or spicy dishes, and certainly with desserts in which chocolate or dried fruits have been used as ingredients.

Dark, very dark ruby brown with small brown foam head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee, like the taste. Also some roast detable. Aftertaste is short lasting. (Velp 201307)
