Enligt legenden förbarmade sig fruktbarhets-gudinnan Eastre över en fågel, vars vingar frusit i den isande vinterkylan, genom att förvandla den till en hare. Denna magiska hare, som faktiskt kunde lägga ägg, lämnade aldrig Eastres sida och blev en symbol för hennes förmåga att väcka naturen till nytt liv.

Pours out in a hazy dark reddish brown colour with a small bubbly off-white head. Over-riped grapefruit, dried oranges, cedar and mint in the aroma with hints of cocoa and toffee. Medium-bodied with rich rounded notes of chocolate, mandarin, cedar and mild grapefruit. Smooth and almost chewy mouthfeel. Long medium-bitter finish of cookies, cedar, cocoa, mild citrousy hops, dark berries and salt. A really well-made and complex ale. Will definitely try it again.
