Top notch beer from one of the best breweries in Florida. This is an oak-aged version of the Pico Duarte Imperial Stout (still waiting to try their infamous and rare Mariana Trench IPS). Seems a little sweet compared to their regular Pico Duarte. Maybe I was thinking Bourbon-barrel in my mind...but the oak definitely adds to the flavor. I wanted to try a full pour of this, but was early in the day and seemed like it would be overwhelming. This is one to bring home and share with several of your buddies.
