330 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear mahogany or mid-brown coloured ale with a thick three fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is sweety malts, spicy, licorice and honey, notes of smoke. The flavour is a solid caramel malty base, spicy, licorice, notes of smoke. the mouthfeel is fulled and slight sticky. This medium to full bodied ale has a long malty finish and an undeniable warming effect. A nice brew from a tiny farm brewery near the french capital, Paris.
