Brewed in the tradition of the artisan brewers of Leipzig, this rare style wheat beer is named after the Gose River whose slightly salty waters originally gave the beer its characteristic taste. This style went extinct twice Germany, but is today enjoying a revival in Leipzig and here in North America. Dry, tart, citrusy and deliciously refreshing on a hot summer’s day.

Bomber from BCLDB Nordel Crossing. Medium yellow pour, hazy, with a frothy white head. Interesting aroma, yeast, grass, lemon. Mouthfeel quite acceptable, Flavour similar to the aroma, along with a (barely perceptable saltiness). Peppery notes at the finish. Crisp and refreshing to drink.
