n the 17th century, a knight loses an arm in battle and returns to Lisbon to forge a new one... made of silver. "Braço de Prata" (Silver Arm) the are where this beer is made, owes its name to him. These are the ingredients for an engaging story and a great Pilsner. Prata is out tribute to the industrious knight with the silver arm.

330 ml bottle, from a SPAR shop in Funchal. ABV is 5.0%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma of malts and newmown grass, hints of honey and herbal hops. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour of malts and moderate herbal hops, the bitterness could with advantage be firmer.
