A traditional cider hand crafted from a select blend of apples and pears. Intense aromas of ripened pear dance from the glass. The taste is light and crisp with a clean, dry finish. Source:http://www.wvwinery.com/index.php?p=cider

355 ml bottle, as Doc's Draft Pear Hard Apple Cider, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Extremely pale yellow colour, pours moderately sparkling. Moderate aroma of apples and pears, hints of leather and sulphites. Medium sweet flavour of apples and pears. Okay.

Pleasant semi sweet aroma and flavor of fresh apple and pear. So light in color it's almost clear. Not complex, but definitely enjoyable.....................

Poured clear with high carbonation, There was a definite pear aroma. The mouth feel was not unlike champagne. In fact I think it was a bit too much like champagne. It had the bitterness and bite off cheap sparkling wine. I would have liked it with a bit more of the fruit sweetness. This would pair well with Turkey or chicken dishes.
