Lightly hazed, copper brown colour with an amber hue, and golden highlights. Rich, sweet nose of a Barleywine with the dark fruits (lots of raisins), Bourbon alcohol notes, vanilla-oak, hints of charred wood. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, with some good bitterness that kicks in near the end, but the dryness does not go to 10. Flavours of dark fruits, roasted barley, coconuts and hops. Gets a little hazier at last pour and head is getting on the creamy side.
