Pours a warm sable with a thick and fine-bubbled tan head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma has a core of roast malt that supports chocolate, molasses and quality coffee notes. Flavor echoes all of the aroma’s notes, adding a smoky tone. Texture seems a bit thin for a stout, but has good fizz.
