A brilliant straw pour with mild lacing, this wheat has a nose of fresh lime citrus, lemon grass, and banana. A boldly refreshing porch pounder with bright tones of Kaffir Lime, clementine, mild spices and a crisp, clean finish.

I love Ballast Points lime wheat, but it also has chili peppers and ginger. This one was just ok. Grassy and a bit fruity and tart, but nothing really stands out. OK as a summer refresher.

Sampled on 10/11/12 at GABF. This wheat beer pours a light yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheat, fruit a touch of lime. A medium to light bodied wheat ale. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are herbal. Nice carbonation. Nice balance. Crisp and clean. Touch of lime. Interesting. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
