As the leaves change and cooler weather signals the arrival of fall, Hey! Pumpkin is a celebration of the season. This pumpkin brew has a gorgeous copper hue resulting from the bushels of real pumpkin used in the mash. 12 oz can. Pours hazy dark golden orange with a fizzy off white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is heavy perfumey pumpkin spices (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg) that quickly dissipates.
The flavor is sweet bready malt with a little fruit and a lot of pumpkin spice. It's a bit watery and washed out with some metallic notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, not a great pumpkin beer.
