Clear amber with off-white lacing lasting foam head. Hoppy barley aroma, some hay notes. Quite sweet taste for a tripel, but then they added sugar to it. Can believe this beer matures well. Small bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201409)

My wife ordered it at a bar, hence the astronomical price... and found it "ok, but nothing special". I sampled about half of it and have about the same assessment. Pours hazy, golden orange with a pillowy white head. Fruit and spice to the nose. Bitter finish.

Dark golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some spices, biscuit, lemons, herbal notes. Flavor is very smooth like lemon meringue pie and some spices. This isn’t a mad bitch but an easy going hippie chick. Aftertaste is somewhat sour. Overall very good.

This is a beer that I have heard great things about that did nothing for me. It pours a hazy dark gold with a with a bubbly rocky head. Yeast, light fruit, and peppery spices dominate the aroma whilke grainy malt and yeast dominate the flavour with very little of the fruity sweetness coming through. The 'Mad Bitch' (as the beer is known as) is not my cup of tea.

I won this bottle in a raffle when I attended the GALS (Georgia Ale & Lager Sirens) meeting at the Brick Store Pub in Decatur. It pours a hazy, nearly opaque honey golden with a fairly thick white head. (Be careful when opening, though - the sample I got fizzed like champagne!) Strong, inviting aroma is fruity and a little malty, as well as subtly sweet. Rich flavor is mainly fruity, mostly apple with hints of banana and pear. There are also malty and hoppy undertones and a little bitterness. Texture is smooth as soymilk and has a good fizz to it. Definitely worth looking for, but as I said, open with caution!

I am really liking this brewery. Belgians are probably my favorite style for non-dark beers, if not overall. Appearance is a cloudy medium orange-brown color. Lots of carbonation on this one. Smell is fruity and sour with some yeast in the background. Flavor is also on the tart side, with some sour fruit, caramel malt, barley and yeast, little hops at the end.... just enough to balance out nice. I may prefer their Bos Keon over this one, but either way this is a very nice triple. Good alcohol bite followed by a 10% buzz!

pours a dark hazy yellow-gold .. great freakidy head, and phat ass lacing .. tasty and good spritz .. abv is on a perfect level, and the good and prominent bitterness is faaaantastic! ... a well made brew, would have been shocked if it wasn't- De Dolle is always quality ... up, up and buffet! ... quite a big tripel, enjoyable, quite bitter, recommended for a tripel hoe!!

pours a murky orange with a huge white head that disappears quick.aroma is great. pear, bread, butterscotch, caramel, and banana. it has a lot of different aromas. flavors are very robust. almost all of the aromas are present in the flavor also. alcohol is there but not over powering at all. this is a fantastic triple.

THis beer poured with a meddy golden body topped off by a medium sized frothy white head that left thin lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma is sweet and fruity with just a touch of alcohol. Mouthfeel was full bodied, coating, and finished dry. The flavor was very complex with next to no alcohol presence and filled with apple, pear, spices, bready yeast, and bitter floral hops. A very nice tripel.

Hazy oranger colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is smooth fruits, yeast and spices. Flavour is yeasty, fruity, slightly hoppy and a bit spicy. Wellbalanced and pleasant.
