750 ml corked and caged bottle. Poured a gushing, unfiltered and hazy golden-orange coloured BdG with a one finger light beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is powerful grassy hops, grainy malts, vegetal notes, herbs, leaves. The flavour is sweety grainy malts, straw, fruity, bananas, apples and nuts and a spicy touch, pepper. The mouthfeel is round and quite thin. The texture is watery. This medium bodied BdG has a long spicy finish. This Bière de Garde is a nice discover, characterful, rustical, multisides, for short, interesting !
