Perkulator is a stand out beer for me, and I was very surprised when a friend opened up this fairly rare barrel aged version. The barrel conditioning calmed this beer down considerably, and the medley of wood, vanilla and whiskey combined with the assertive coffee and dark fruits is amazing. Soft and well rounded, it's great.......but I like the original just the way it is.
