Dark orange beer that builds a huge tan head with the consistency of whipped cream. Citrus nose.Medium body. I get slightly bitter orange coming at me when I taste this. One of the highlights of the fest for me.

This review is from notes previously taken I sampled this brew at the 2003 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest clear golden ale, some bitterness up front with a smooth finish. Lots of orange notes in the flavor throughout

Tasted at the 2003 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. Medium orange color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is fruit, orange and malt. A medium bodied American Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are spicy. Orange flavors throughout this beer. Nicely balanced. Very smooth. No alcohol bite at 8%. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
