Black lager that was selected as the best Greek beer and among the best in the world by the Swedish beer expert Per Samuelsson. Its main taste characteristic of caramel and coffe stems from the use of dark malt varieties and roasted barley. Bottom fermented yeast clears the taste and makes the beer highly drinkable and a perfect accompaniment to dark meat dishes, cigar smoking and chocolate based sweets.

330 ml shared bottle, kindly provided by our beerpal Jan Magnus. ABV 5%. Very dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Mildly roasty aroma, notes of chocolate and mild coffee. Fairly dry flavour, medium roasty, notes of mild coffee, hints of dark bitter chocolate. Tolerable hops in the finish.

Really nice black color, like it should be, when You have an Schwarzbier in Your hands. Foam dissapears quite fast. Aroma is a little bit weak, but still nice with some hints of caramel and dark chocolate. Taste is strongly bready and has some caramel in it. Very smooth and round finish.
