Pours gold with a very fizzy head and lots of active carbonation, looks like apple juice with champagne like bubbles. After the bubbles run out it pretty much looks like apple juice. Smells like apples but also has a dry presence. Starts sweet like apple juice and finishes like apple juice. Definitely better than some other ciders I've had recently.

Second cider of the night, found at the LCBO. Pours a rich golden colour, with a white fizzy head that disappears quickly (like most cider), leaving not much and nicely carbonated with small bubbles. The smell is mostly apples, with notes of whiskey in the background. Tastes sweet at first, then the apple juice comes to blend this and to disappear slowly where the apples are present in the aftertaste, and a touch of smoked wood comes out. Again, feels thick for the mouthfeel, but ends up crisp really quickly. Pretty decent cider, that is not shocking, not really dry, and has a really good aftertaste.
