Country Bumpkin is the strongest beer which we brew, bumpkin is dark and has a slightly malty taste. Not as sweet as other beers in this strength band, it is a great beer for the winter months or for drinkers who enjoy their beer with a serious punch. The whole world seems better after drinking a few pints of the Country Bumpkin. Awards: Runner up at North Devon Beer Festival and Sussex Beer Festival. Bronze at Tuckers Maltings, SIBA Southwest.

Cask at the the GBBF 2008. Amber colour. Very nice aroma of dark fruits, butterscotch and oak. The flavour is fairly well balanced between the malts (with some caramel) and decent hops.
