500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Bottle conditioned. Mahogany coloured beer, large and lasting tan head which leaves a nice lacing. Excellent aroma with vinous notes, there’s oak, malts, rhum-raisins, treacle, some perfume too. The mouthfeel is (relatively) thinner than what the aroma makes you expect. The flavour is oaky and spicy with notes of dark fruits and caramel, but not exceedingly sweet. Dry finish. Good beer - recommended!

Cask. Dark red (close to black) colour, with beige bubbly head. Sweet caramelly aroma with lots of sweetness. Smooth berry taste with hints of sweet citrus. A bit hoppy bitterness in finish. Honeyish, semi-bitter aftertaste.

Brown colored ale with a full head. The nose was like a cabernet, full of dark fruit and alcohol. Flavor turned to sweet chocolate malt with the alcohol bite. Strong aftertaste was a bit more subdued than the palate. I liked this one alot.

Bottle. Almost black, with a good sized tan head. Nice roasted malt and coffee aroma. Taste is roasted malts and coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and perhaps a little smokiness. Nice slightly bitter, dry finish. Full bodied, smooth and drinkable. Very good
