The pour is reddish in color, slightly murky, with a thin creamy cream coloured head. Quite clear for a dubbel. Aroma is sweet with notes of candy sugar, dark fruit, and roasted malt notes. Mouthfeel is average, which I consider weak for a dubbel. Flavor tends to ward the sweet side as well with no bitter burnt sugar finish like a lot of true Belgian dubbels.
