Coopers Premium Lager is quite different to the famous Coopers ales. This lager produces a refreshing flavour with a good balance of malt and hop characters and is brewed using no sugar. With its subtle fruity esters and light golden colour, combined with a judicious blend of Pride of Ringwood and Saaz hops. This produces a Lager with a crisp malty full flavour.

A bright golden colored beer. Small soapy textured head rises above. Some hang time. Settles into a light film and cap/ringlet. Corn and grassy hops are in the nose. Corn never leaves a pleasant aroma. In the light medium bodied, creamy beer is a unassuming grainy tasting beer.

It pours a light golden with thin white head and some lace. Fresh aroma of sweet malts, light hops, and some lemon. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and rich. Flavors of sweet malts, light hops, lemon and citrus, and some mild pepper taste. One of the better lagers I've had, it beats Foster's.

Pretty good stuff. Tried this at Outback awhile ago but never reviewed it. Pale yellow with lots of carbonation. Maybe too much. Nice balance in the flavors. It went really well with blooming onion and salad. Have something darker with your steak.

Eh, what can I say. I was ok. Pale yellow pour with little lacing that dissapeared rapidly. some grain, some hop in the flavor, but nothing ot write home about.

Sparkling gold colored pour, powerful carbonation, 1" creamy head, and great lacing. Pale malty aroma with a hint of maize, grassy and lightly sweet. Light bodied with a stale, empty aftertaste that is mildly bitter. This tastes like a premium lager, but still seems held back from being real enjoyable. Grainy malts with grassy/peppery hops. Well balanced beer that is standard fare. By no means worth the cost.

some foam on the pour but dies to a slim ring ... decent taste, no off flavours, basic corn and arcade game ... overall: a decent pale lager that is probably better with a side of bloomin onion... perhaps...

Pours a clear bright golden colour, with absolutely no head. and zero lacing. Mouthfeel is slightly grainy, but tolerable (for me). moderately malty, but very smooth.

This one poured a nice golden color with literally NO HEAD. It had a dry malty aroma with a nice flavor consisting of grass and malt. Was real smooth and pleasent to drink. Nothing too special, just like any other pale lager.

A hopped slightly bitter aroma. Poured with a weak head and a medium-light golden yellow color. Hop taste is not overly strong but very noticeable. Decent lager I would drink again.

Pale yellow/gold in colour. Pours a rocky white head, with some large bubbles. Leaves a nice lace. Smells of typical macro Aussie lager. Metallic POR hops, some subtle sulfur. Fairly innocuous taste... grain and some nuttiness that may be Munich or somesuch, nice late burst of hop flavour. Creamier front mouthfeel than Aussie macros, although it finishes crisp & dry. I'd drink this over Carlton/Lion bulk beers anyday, but I think there are other Premium labels that have more character & interest. A single bottle only cost $2 AUD at Dan Murphy, so it's good value IMHO.
