This is an unfiltered wheat beer light in color and low bitterness. This refreshing beer is brewed with wheat and barley pale in color. The wheat and barley is brewed using a temperature controlled step mash. In doing this we utilize the proteins and enzymes necessary to convert sugars for fermentation. This beer is delicately hopped using three varieties of hops. The first addition, at the beginning of the boil are cascade hops. This well established variety of hops is an American grown hop. This hop is known for its citrus flavors and floral aroma characteristics. The second addition is a mix of cascade and Mt. hood hops. Mt. hood hops are known to be mild, pleasant and clean. Mt. hood hops are also added at the end of the boil for aroma. The combination of unfiltered wheat and yeast result in a cloudy, frothy, and refreshing beer. The yeast used in this beer is a lager and ferments at the bottom. It ferments at lower temperatures and adds a clean crisp flavor. The yeast is left in suspension for additional bottle conditioning. A hint of almond is added for flavor. Honey is also added from Cannon Falls, Minnesota for a balanced sweetness. The water for this beer comes from a fresh water aquifer which is some of the best water in the world for brewing beer. Nothing is added to the water, it has all of the minerals necessary to brew great beer.

double pint - way too similar to old johnnie (amber ale) for a style that's supposed to be so different. not alot of weisse character at all, but muddled malts, maybe some wheat. there was a hint of honey and nut, but overall this is a non-offensive macro generic.

Not much going on here. Very little in the way of aroma but I do detect some sweetness (honey?) and nuttiness. Taste is plain, similar to the aroma. I could see this being an easy drinking beer but there are many better options for the style.
