This wheated stout is much like an American stout but brewed with a large amount of wheat in the grist to give the drinker a fluffy and robust drinking experience. Lots of chocolate and sticky caramel flavors can be enjoyed when drinking this pitch black beer. This hearty stout is named after an even heartier mountain, Payson Peak, located in the southern Wind River Range of the Shoshone National Forest. The peak was named after Henry A. Payson a forest ranger and wild land fire fighter who was active in community affairs near Lander Wyoming.
