We celebrated brewing our 100th gyle with a big rich Imperial Stout. Hops (Aroma): Wilamette, Chinook, Simcoe, Motueka; Hops (Bittering): Motueka; Malt: Best Ale, Dark Crystal, Black, Chocolate, Medium Crystal, Liquid Glucose Syrup, Roast Barley. Bottle, 750ml. Also seen at 10.1%.

Shared 750 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 11.2%. Pitch black colour, minimal tan head. Roasty aroma, chocolate, coffee, a whiff of vomit which fortunately does not last. Hints of molasses and liquorice. Distinctly roasty flavour with notes of liquorice and roast malts, also coffee and dark chocolate. Good, but not brilliant.
