Envy is the perfect balance between malt and hops. Not too dry or too sweet, it is a full-bodied and complex beer without being overly heavy. The dried fruit notes that characterize the ale’s yeast profile conjure flavors reminiscent of a lighter version of an old-style English Extra Special Bitter.

Tried this one a few weeks ago at Opal Divines on s. Congress. Aromas and flavors of maple syrup malts and fruit hints. More complex than your regular ESB, I thought it was a decent brew.

Poured out a stupid tree brown, light but sturn foam .. . some light bitterness, some maple maltiness and a weird fruit.. . swollen eyes .. . OK stuff but needs work .. . But I am who I am. - Yeah let's pretend you aren't who you are and just try to attract a woman.
