Rated in Sept. 2011. Big thanks to fata2683 (and markwise) for this. Growler pours out amber – copper with off white head. The aroma has loads of chili peppers like a plate of sliced jalapenos that goes deep in depth. I also get a much lighter note of malts, roasted malts and a touch fruity esters. The taste is earthy and roasty with malts followed by modest amounts of chili meat and almost no chili heat. Nice mix of notes here where the aroma showed way more jalapeno than the flavor.
