Pours a hazy light yellow colour with a small white cap, stays just a bit and gives out a little lacing. Not a fan of the aromas, as reminds me of earwax. In the back is the sweet honey and apples relaxing this. Thankfully, in the taste, this not there (not sure if the Jasmine is responsible, but I no like). Not really sweet, which was expected. The honey is mild and apples are the strongest thing here. Mild perfume in the finish. Quite refreshing for mead. Too bad for the smell.

The mead pours a hazed golden yellow with a minimal white head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is honey, light fruit, grains, and spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very honey strong, with some herbs, grains, and light fruit rounding it out. I like the strong honey presence. -

Pours a huge foamy bubbly white head but goes away very quickly. Quite heavily carbonated. Almost looks like ginger ale but much more hazy. Aromas of sweet malt, honey and floral hops. Flavours are also fairly sweet with resin and floral hop notes and faint hints of caramel. Honey notes on the palate much more in the finish. Medium retention. Light bodied mouthfeel. Tingling sensation.

I suppose my rating is a bit unfair since this is my first mead. I had no idea what it would be like but I definitely didn't expect this. Pale, watery gold pour with almost no head. Very sweet, honey, watery taste. Happy to have had the opportunity to try a mead but apparently not my thing.

On tap @ Bearden Beer Market. Light pale yellow, bubbly white head which disappears quickly, little to no lacing, great carbonation. Pears, honey and floral honeysuckle in this lightly tart and refreshing beverage. Light nose and palate: pears, honey, honeysuckle, lightly tart then sweet, very easy to drink.

Expecting a big sticky sweet high abv mead and got this deliciously refreshing treat in stead. Maybe a little overrated in my head as it was such a nice change of pace. Very floral, with light honey and refreshing herbals. Brought home a bottle. Wow-did NOT sit well. Overwhelmingly perfume and prickly with little else going on after a few months.

The sample I got fizzed like nobody’s business, so open with care - and a big, thirsty towel! Pours a clear, wan straw yellow with a thick white head that quickly bids adieu - not impressive, but this is mead, so I need to judge it by that. Aroma has about average strength, herbal note with a little honey. Flavor is - meh. Watery, herbal, a touch of honey, a cough syrup hint. Texture is smooth but thin, little fizz. OK, definitely not Rogue’s best - but give ’em an A for effort.
